Privacy Policy
WhatCity (“the App”) is a geography quiz game. This policy explains what information the App handles. We do not create user accounts and we do not operate a backend that stores personal profiles.
Information we collect
The App does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location for tracking, contacts, photos, or payment card details.
Game progress and preferences (for example high scores, XP, difficulty, language, daily play quota, and Premium entitlement flags) are stored only on your device, typically in the WebView’s local storage. This data stays on the device unless you clear app data or uninstall the App.
How we use information
Local game data is used only to run the App on your device: resume progress, remember settings, and enforce the free daily play limit.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share game progress with third parties for advertising.
Purchases
Optional Premium purchases (when available) are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Store platforms may process purchase records under their own privacy policies.
Advertising and analytics
The App currently does not show third-party ads and does not include third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs in the native builds.
The website (whatcity.informix.pro) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-oriented visitor measurement service (page views, approximate location by country, referrers, and visit duration). It does not use cookies for this purpose and is not designed to identify individual visitors. See Cloudflare’s documentation and privacy policy for details.
If this changes further, we will update this policy and the store Data safety disclosures.
Children
The App is a general audience geography quiz and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- You can clear local App data in your device settings.
- Uninstalling the App removes locally stored progress on that device.
Changes
We may update this policy when the App’s data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
